Job Title: Architectural Design Manager - Real Estate

Location: Mumbai (Dadar)

Industry: Real Estate / Residential Luxury Villas

Reporting To: Lead Architect

Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fulfil the role of Design Manager with a minimum of 5+ years of architectural experience in design. Ideal candidates will possess a robust background in architecture, particularly in the realm of residential luxury villas. This role focuses strictly on architectural expertise and does not encompass interior design.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor of Architecture (B Arch) is mandatory; a Master’s degree in Architecture or Urban Planning is advantageous.

Languages:

Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership:

Spearhead architectural design, plotting, and master planning efforts to ensure high-quality outputs and timely project delivery.

2. Feasibility Analysis:

Collaborate with the land acquisition team to evaluate project feasibility and prepare necessary test fits.

3. Stakeholder Coordination:

Engage with sales teams, project managers, and consultants to synchronize project timelines and space programs effectively.

4. Meetings Management:

Organize and lead project kick-off and weekly review meetings with consultants and internal teams, addressing progress and challenges.

5. Consultant Review:

Critically assess and provide constructive feedback on consultant deliverables at various project stages.

6. Standards Compliance:

Ensure all planning, design, and implementation activities adhere to Isprava's established standards and protocols.

7. Reporting and Proposals:

Develop comprehensive feasibility reports, design proposals, and engaging presentations tailored for both internal and external stakeholders.

8. Cross disciplinary Collaboration:

Collaborate with MEP engineers, interior designers, and landscape architects to refine and finalize design concepts.

9. Regulatory Adherence:

Guarantee that all designs comply with Indian building codes, standards, and relevant regulations.

10. Site Oversight:

Conduct regular site visits to monitor execution quality, provide guidance, and document observations.

11. Design Solutions:

Proactively address design related challenges and offer effective technical solutions to construction teams.

12. Final Inspections:

Oversee snagging and final inspections prior to handover, ensuring completion meets all specifications.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in creating and delivering PowerPoint presentations.
• Advanced knowledge and hands on experience with SketchUp; familiarity with USGBC and Revit is an added advantage.
• Prior onsite experience is beneficial.

Preferred Skills:

• Extensive experience in architectural practice.
• Background in real estate design management.
