Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and innovative Design Manager – Aluminum & Façade to lead our design department and deliver high-performance façade solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in aluminum and façade engineering, with a proven track record of managing the full design cycle from concept through execution. This role requires close collaboration with project stakeholders and a strong focus on quality, innovation, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Leadership & Management

• Lead and manage the façade design team across multiple concurrent projects.
• Review, validate, and approve technical drawings and design submissions.
• Provide expert guidance on system design, material selection, and constructability.

2. Coordination & Collaboration

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate façade systems effectively.
• Participate in design meetings to ensure all client and consultant requirements are addressed.
• Provide ongoing technical support to project execution teams.

3. Technical Documentation

• Supervise preparation of shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation layouts.
• Ensure all design deliverables comply with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Maintain design documentation standards, templates, and technical submittal libraries.

4. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Research and implement new materials, systems, and design methodologies.
• Lead initiatives to enhance design quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Stay updated on façade engineering trends, technologies, and sustainable design practices.

5. Team Development

• Mentor and support the growth of junior designers and draftsmen.
• Conduct design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and evaluate technical performance.
• Foster a culture of creativity, technical excellence, and continuous learning.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10–15 years of experience in façade and aluminum system design, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience on high-rise, commercial, or landmark façade projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, or other 3D modeling/design software.
• Strong understanding of structural principles, thermal performance, and material behavior in façade systems.
• Excellent leadership, project coordination, and communication skills.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
