About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and innovative Design Manager to lead our Aluminum & Façade Design Department. The ideal candidate will oversee the complete design lifecycle — from concept development to final execution — ensuring that all designs are technically sound, aesthetically aligned, and cost-efficient. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for innovation in façade engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the façade design team across multiple concurrent projects.
• Review, approve, and validate technical drawings, shop drawings, and design submissions with expert technical input.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate façade systems into architectural and structural frameworks.
• Conduct and facilitate design coordination meetings, addressing client and consultant requirements effectively.
• Provide technical guidance and design-related support to project execution and site teams.
• Oversee the preparation, standardization, and quality control of shop drawings, fabrication details, and installation plans.
• Ensure that all designs comply with UAE building codes, safety standards, and project-specific requirements.
• Promote innovation by researching and implementing new façade materials, systems, and technologies.
• Continuously optimize design workflows to enhance quality, reduce costs, and accelerate delivery timelines.
• Foster team development through structured mentoring, training, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, design standards, and material libraries to support current and future projects.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10–15 years of experience in aluminum and façade system design, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering façade solutions for high-rise, commercial, or landmark projects.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and other 3D design/modeling software.
• Strong understanding of structural behavior, thermal performance, and façade materials.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance design innovation with cost-effective, practical solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
