About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Design Manager – Aluminum & Façade to lead our façade design team and oversee the full design lifecycle—from concept development to project execution. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of high-performance, technically sound, and cost-effective façade solutions aligned with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the façade design team, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of design quality and efficiency.
• Review, approve, and validate technical drawings, design calculations, and submissions, providing expert technical guidance.
• Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of façade systems with architectural and structural designs.
• Conduct and lead design coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and internal project teams.
• Support project execution teams by providing technical expertise and resolving design-related challenges.
• Oversee preparation of shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation details.
• Ensure all façade designs comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
• Drive innovation by researching and implementing new façade technologies, materials, and design methodologies.
• Improve design workflows and processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize project delivery.
• Mentor junior designers and engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.
• Maintain organized technical documentation, design libraries, and standard details for future projects.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline (Master’s degree is an advantage).

Experience:

• 10–15 years of experience in façade and aluminum system design.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership or managerial role managing design teams.

Technical Expertise:

• Proven experience delivering façade systems for high-rise, commercial, or landmark projects.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, or similar 3D design software.
• Strong knowledge of façade engineering principles, structural behavior, thermal performance, and façade materials.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
