We’re looking for a Design and Product Development Assistant who can bring fresh ideas to life — blending creativity, trend insight, and strong execution skills to create beautiful, meaningful products that delight our customers and exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Ideation & Conceptualization: Develop innovative product ideas in line with market trends, brand identity, and seasonal themes.
• Design Development: Create mood boards, design briefs, sketches, and packaging concepts for new collections and gifting categories.
• Sourcing & Sampling: Work closely with vendors and artisans to source materials, manage prototypes, and ensure timely sampling and quality control.
• Market & Trend Research: Stay ahead of design, color, and material trends in the gifting and lifestyle industry; benchmark competitors and identify new opportunities.
• Product Launch Support: Collaborate with marketing and operations teams for product positioning, pricing, and launch plans.
• Vendor Coordination: Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and onboard new ones to expand the product range and improve production efficiency.
• Quality & Cost Management: Balance creativity with cost-effectiveness and manufacturability without compromising design integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in product development, design, or merchandising — preferably in the gifting, lifestyle, home décor, or FMCG sector.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design software.
• Strong sense of aesthetics, color theory, and material understanding.
• Excellent project management and communication skills — ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• A creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for beautiful, functional design.
