Sign Design & Production Assistant (Seasonal)

Monday–Thursday, 9AM–4PM | Lansing, MI

MI Imagery is a sign fabrication and installation company based in Michigan. We work on everything from ADA signage and monument signs to large-scale commercial installs — and we're looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and creatively minded person to support our small team this summer, with the potential to grow into a long-term role for the right fit.

What you'll be doing:

• Designing signs and graphics for client projects using Adobe Illustrator
• Preparing and sending proofs to clients, incorporating feedback and revisions
• Fielding first inquiries from potential clients and routing them appropriately
• Ordering materials as needed to support production
• Entering and updating jobs in our project tracking system
• Learning the sign industry — there's a lot to know, and we'll teach you

What we're looking for:

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (required)
• Some graphic design experience
• Extremely detail-oriented and organized — accuracy matters in this work
• A genuine willingness to learn an industry you may not know yet
• Clear, professional communication skills for client-facing interactions

This is a seasonal position (May-Sep) with the possibility of continued employment for the right fit.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
