Design Professional

We are seeking a highly organized, collaborative person to join our Retail team as a Design Professional at our client site in Cupertino, CA with initial training in Alameda, CA. In this role you will work closely Design managers at the client site to work on layouts for global stores.

What You'll Do

• Assist in the new store projects develop test fits to support the RE team in evaluating the site feasibility

• Produce approach and concept drawings that maintain the brand standard and values

• Assist with test fits for existing store projects; design and develop test fits during concept phase. Overseeing projects from SD- CD for the client

• Working with internal cross functional teams to review layouts and fine tuning scope of work for that location.

• Provide design input in review discussions with architect and external consultants

• Implement corrections, revisions, red line changes, and address comments on layouts ensuring accuracy with code compliance in conjunction with architects assigned on the project

• Solve space planning and adjacency requirements

• Collaborate with the team to improve processes including architectural production methods

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in space planning is a plus and an overall understanding of project execution

• A professional degree in Architecture or equivalent experience

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD

• Experience using CAD

• Team player and be able to work with people with different disciplines to move project forward.

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Deadline driven with strong attention to detail

• Experience with other design software such as Bluebeam
