Michelle Erin Interiors is a growing interior design studio specializing in residential new construction, large scale remodels, and full service furnishing projects. We were recently featured in Tampa Magazine and our goal is to bring timeless beauty to our clients in Tampa and nationwide, and for their experience to be clear, positive, creative, and inspiring.
We are looking for a full-time Studio Manager with strong technical knowledge of residential construction and furniture who will serve as the operational backbone of our studio. As a small team, we’re looking for someone who is excited to grow with us long term who takes pride in strengthening systems, supporting every aspect of a project, and continually helping us improve every aspect of our work.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Interior Design.
- Education in Interior Design or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in technical documentation preferred (AutoCAD, Sketchup, and/or Chief Architect).
- Strong foundational knowledge of space planning, construction, and materials.
- Naturally detail-oriented, highly organized, and efficient.
- Strategic thinker with excellent client management and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Able to independently and effectively prioritize, understanding what moves a project forward.
- Strong visual and written communication skills.
- Takes pride in bringing complex projects to completion and keeping the team informed and ahead of schedule.
- Based in Tampa, FL.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in all phases of residential design projects including space planning, furniture layouts, CAD drawings, renderings, product specification, budgeting, and client presentations.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop thoughtful, client-specific interiors aligned with the studio’s aesthetic and standards.
- Source furnishings, materials, finishes, and fixtures while preparing concept boards, presentations, and specification documentation.
- Maintain detailed project documentation including finish and fixture schedules, drawings, meeting notes, and client correspondence.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, architects, and vendors to coordinate selections and ensure design intent is executed accurately.
- Oversee project management and organization within our internal and client platforms.
- Attend site visits and installations to support project implementation, problem solving, and final styling.
- Manage assigned projects to ensure timelines, budgets, and deliverables remain organized and on track.
- Maintain accurate time records and contribute to a collaborative, proactive team environment.
- Comfortable with invoicing, billing, purchasing, financial reconciliation, and delivery logistics.
- Assistance with office inventory and sample library management and stocking.

This position is located at our office in Lutz, FL but will require meeting attendance throughout the Tampa Bay area, and occasional out-of-state travel.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
