Design Visualization Specialist

We are a Philadelphia-based design and fabrication company with a rich history offering customizable and bespoke designs to high-end residential and commercial clients. Over the past decade, we've evolved a line of meticulously crafted furniture and furnishings including shelving, kitchens, lighting, decorative doors and more that combine artisan finishes with the highest quality metal and wood construction. With a flagship showroom in NYC and an exciting new showroom in Los Angeles, we're expanding our presence to better serve the architectural and design communities nationwide.

We are looking for a motivated Design Visualization Specialist to add to our team. This role is for a visually and technically minded designer that is capable of communicating ideas to both internal and external team. The right candidate will possess the ability to visually organize and present information, while also absorbing and retaining knowledge related to our custom fabricated products and manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Will translate complex ideas into clear visual presentations for both clients and internal teams
• Translating client intent into buildable designs while keeping in mind fabrication constraints
• Will serve as an early feasibility checkpoint to prevent design concepts that exceed fabrication capabilities

What We're Looking for:

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with 3D CAD (academic experience acceptable)
• Strong modeling fundamentals are more important than specific software
• Experience with parametric modeling software preferred, including:
  • Fusion 360 (preferred but not required)
  • SolidWorks
  • Solid Edge
  • Creo
• Strong time management skills
• Organizational ability
• Effective interpersonal communication and teamwork
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Bonus if you have:

• Interest in furniture, architecture, or interior design
• Shop experience (woodworking, metalworking, CNC, etc.)
• Experience with 2D design and layout software such as:
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe InDesign
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Rendering experience such as KeyShot is a plus
