Designated Substitute Toddler Teacher - Salaried Position

Boise, United States

Designated Substitute Toddler Teacher: Anticipated start date is October 1st, 2025.

**Please reach out directly if you have a current Boise City Childcare Worker License or an active Idaho State Childcare Worker Enhanced Background Check**

The Children’s School is hiring a qualified early childhood educator to teach alongside the lead teacher(s) in our toddler classrooms during the lead teachers' work-from-home day. Our classrooms use a team approach - two individuals collaborate as co-teachers instead of a lead and assistant teacher and work four day work-weeks. They each have one a set day a week to work-from-home to complete additional teaching responsibilities and paperwork. Designated Substitute Teachers will always work alongside a main co-teacher who is familiar with the children and their parents.

All of our main lead co-teachers have a set work-from-home day in which the individual hired will provide coverage for. The main responsibilities will include co-teaching with the other main teacher of that classroom, supervising children, light housekeeping (such as sweeping and wiping tables) and implementing activities that the main teachers have planned.

Work Schedule: This position is 32 hours a week, with the following non-negotiable schedule...

Monday 8a-4p, Tuesdays off, Wednesday 9:30a-5:30p, Thursday 8a-4p, Friday 8:30a-4:30p

We require the individual to commit to this position through at least August 2026. The Designated Substitute Toddler Teacher position will be guaranteed 32 hours a week and is eligible for all of our benefits. We cannot accommodate care for staff children at this time.

Priority will be given to applicants looking for long term employment.
