Designer

Our client, the in-house agency of a globally recognized financial institution, is looking for a Visual Designer to support a new, high-visibility initiative focused on elevating executive presence across social media, digital channels, and presentations. This initiative supports C-Suite executives, Managing Directors, and Executive Directors, and will expand significantly over time. This is a hybrid position based in NYC, requiring in-office presence three days per week (specific days vary). The role offers the opportunity to work on a growing program that combines design, strategy, and storytelling at the enterprise level.

Responsibilities:

• Design visually engaging content for social and digital channels to support the personal brands of senior leaders
• Develop original graphics and adapt existing assets into social, digital, and presentation formats
• Create simple motion assets using After Effects, Canva, or Figma to bring static designs to life
• Design polished executive decks that complement digital and social storytelling
• Collaborate closely with content strategists, marketers, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Translate creative briefs into smart, brand-aligned design solutions
• Maintain consistency across deliverables while exploring new formats and approaches
• Support the development of design templates and scalable systems as the program expands
• Present work to internal stakeholders and contribute to strategic discussions around visual direction
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing social, digital, and presentation work
• Proficient in Figma, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); After Effects is a plus
• Demonstrated experience creating motion graphics for digital and social channels (even simple animations)
• Strong understanding of platform nuances—especially LinkedIn
• Familiarity with designing for corporate/financial brands or clients
• Highly collaborative and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Clear communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
