Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Designer to join our dynamic creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive design solutions across various projects, ensuring that concepts are translated into visually compelling and technically accurate representations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in both digital and manual drafting techniques, with proficiency in a broad range of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software and design tools. Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and SolidWorks, ensuring precision and clarity.
• Develop schematics, technical drawings, and construction documentation that meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to refine design concepts and incorporate technical feedback.
• Utilize Civil 3D for civil infrastructure planning and layout development.
• Produce accurate mechanical designs and assemblies for manufacturing or construction purposes.
• Generate visualizations including 2D animations to effectively communicate design intent.
• Support the drafting process by preparing detailed plans, sections, elevations, and schematics.
• Assist in reviewing design models for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Contribute to project meetings by presenting design proposals and updates.

Experience

• Proven experience in mechanical design or architectural drafting with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in CAD software.
• Familiarity with SketchUp, NavisWorks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and 2D animation tools.
• Knowledge of construction processes and technical schematics is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings and translate concepts into detailed plans.
• Experience working on multidisciplinary projects involving civil, mechanical, or structural components.
• Strong understanding of drafting standards and best practices within the industry.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills suitable for a diverse team environment. Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
