THE TEAM

The 3D Team at Ticketmaster is responsible for creating high‑quality 3D stadiums, venues, and immersive visual assets that support client presentations, product experiences, and fan‑facing digital platforms. We collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Client Services teams to visually bring live event environments to life and ensure Ticketmaster maintains its leadership in innovative, world‑class venue technologies.

THE JOB

As a Designer 3 (3D) , you will play a key role in producing detailed, accurate, and visually compelling 3D stadium models for use across Ticketmaster’s platforms and client engagements. You will contribute to the creation of architectural environments that enable fans and clients to explore venues with clarity, realism, and ease.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical proficiency in 3D modelling with an architectural mindset, an eye for design, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast‑paced production environment. As Ticketmaster continues to expand its suite of 3D visualization products globally, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team that shapes the way millions of fans interact with live events digitally.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Model 3D stadiums and venue structures in 3ds Max to create accurate architectural visuals.
  • Build and optimize poly models to ensure clean geometry and efficient performance.
  • Use V‑Ray to set up lighting and rendering for high‑quality outputs.
  • Create and edit textures using Photoshop to enhance visual quality.
  • Work with plugins such as Rail Clone and Forest Pack to speed up modelling and environment creation.
  • Follow project naming conventions and file structures to keep assets organized and easy to track.
  • Export and prepare files in correct formats for internal use and integration with other teams.
  • Use basic 3ds Max scripting (when needed) to automate tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Review models and renders and make updates based on feedback to meet quality standards.
  • Work closely with team members and cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth production and timely delivery.
  • Maintain documentation for assets, processes, and updates.
  • Support continuous improvement by sharing ideas for better tools, processes, and techniques.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)

  • Strong hands‑on experience with 3ds Max for architectural and poly modelling.
  • Proficiency in V‑Ray for lighting, shading, and high‑quality rendering.
  • Solid working knowledge of Photoshop for texture creation and post‑production.
  • Experience using Rail Clone and Forest Pack for procedural and environment modelling.
  • Understanding of AutoCAD drawings and ability to interpret architectural plans.
  • Good understanding of 3D file formats, conversions, and optimization workflows.
  • Familiarity with 3ds Max scripting (Max Script) to automate tasks is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to maintain clean project structures, naming conventions, and organized asset files.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in 3D design, architectural visualization, or related fields; a degree/diploma in Architecture, Animation, or Design is preferred but not mandatory with a strong portfolio.
