Designer (Commercial Kitchen Equipment)

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Designer to join our team, specializing in the design of stainless steel commercial kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sheet metal design and a strong understanding of fabrication processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Fabrication drawings using SolidWorks (sheet metal module)
• Create fabrication drawings for commercial kitchen equipment including counters, chillers, hoods, sinks, cabinets, etc.
• Ensure all designs meet fabrication, welding, and material standards
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to translate concepts into manufacturable solutions
• Prepare accurate BOMs (Bill of Materials) and support documentation for production
• Assist with design optimization to reduce cost and improve efficiency

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, specifically the sheet metal module
• Solid understanding of fabrication techniques, welding processes, and material specifications
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication standards
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
