About the Company:

Our client is a reputed garment export house based in Noida, Sector 63, working with leading European retailers and fashion brands. The company specializes in high-quality apparel manufacturing across kidswear and womenswear categories.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Designer cum Product Developer with strong experience in export house design processes, trend research, and product development for European customers. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise in creating market-relevant collections, understanding buyer aesthetics, and developing samples from concept to pre-production.

Key Responsibilities:Design & Development:

• Create seasonal collections for kidswear and womenswear based on market trends, buyer mood boards, and brand aesthetics.
• Develop sketches, CADs, and detailed tech packs for sampling.
• Source and select fabrics, trims, washes, and embellishments suitable for European markets.
• Work closely with sampling teams to ensure accurate execution of design intent.

Trend Research & Analysis:

• Conduct trend forecasting, color research, and competitor analysis aligned with European fashion trends.
• Identify new concepts, silhouettes, prints, and detailing.

Product Development:

• Support buyers with innovative product ideas and range presentations.
• Manage sample development from prototype to final approval.
• Coordinate with merchandising, sampling, and production teams to ensure timely sample submissions.
• Ensure quality, fits, and finishes meet buyer standards.

Buyer Interaction:

• Work directly with European customers for design presentations, corrections, and approvals.
• Understand buyer expectations and translate them into commercially viable designs.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of experience in a garment export house (mandatory).
• Strong design portfolio in kidswear and womenswear for European clients.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and MS Office.
• Deep understanding of fabrics, trims, printing techniques, embroidery, and garment construction.
• Strong aesthetic sense, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
