Job Description:
Entegris is currently seeking a Designer/Drafter to join our Microcontamination Division in San Luis Obispo, CA.
In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with engineers to create detailed schematics and designs using SolidWorks software. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you produce accurate technical drawings, ensuring precision in layouts. Additionally, you’ll perform manufacturing redlines and Process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) during the manufacturing process. Beyond drafting, you’ll assist in new product development systems. Clear communication skills are essential, as you’ll collaborate closely with engineers and other team members.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with engineers to create detailed schematics and designs using SolidWorks.
- Perform Manufacturing Redlines and process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
- Assist in drafting for new product development systems.
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure precise and high-quality designs.
- Any other duties as assigned.
What We Seek:
- 2+ years of experience as a Drafter.
- Proficiency in CAD software, including SolidWorks experience.
- Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM) creation.
- Knowledge of UL508A code requirements.
- Design/build experience in an industrial equipment environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with engineers and other team members.

- Compensation: $24-32 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
