Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Designer Engineer responsible for preparing accurate engineering designs, drawings, and technical documents in line with project requirements, applicable standards, and client specifications. The role requires close coordination with project, site, and procurement teams to ensure efficient and compliant design execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering designs, layouts, and shop drawings
• Develop design calculations, BOQs, and technical submittals
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications, codes, and standards
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and consultants
• Review and modify designs based on site conditions and client feedback
• Support estimation, procurement, and execution teams with technical inputs
• Maintain proper design documentation and version control
• Attend design coordination and technical meetings as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / ELV or related)
• Minimum 2–4 years experience as a Designer Engineer
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit / BIM is an advantage)
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, standards, and calculations
• Ability to interpret specifications and construction drawings
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in UAE projects
• Knowledge of local authority approvals and standards (DEWA, ADDC, SIRA, etc.)
• Strong communication and coordination skills
