Salary Range: $36.53/hr-$51.02/hr - Commensurate (dependent on experience, education, and qualifications)

Your Role: Distribution Designer III

What You’ll Do

    • Design layouts for power systems using PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, or MicroStation.
    • Collaborate with drafters and engineers to meet project goals.
    • Assist in producing detailed project drawings.
    • Stay organized and meet deadlines under budget constraints.

What You Bring

  • A degree in Design/Drafting or a related field (Associate’s or Bachelor’s).
  • 2+ years of experience with Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years with Associate's degree
  • Experience with SDG&E distribution projects preferred.
  • SDGE Qualified Designer certification or willingness to achieve it within 90 days.
  • Proficiency in PLS-CADD preferred.
  • Knowledge of Power Engineering principles and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
