Designer – Joinery (CAD / Technical Designer)

Job Role

The Designer is responsible for preparing detailed joinery shop drawings, 3D layouts, and production-ready designs. This role ensures accurate technical documentation for both client approvals and workshop manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed shop drawings, cutting lists, and technical documentation.
• Develop 2D/3D designs based on client requirements and architectural drawings.
• Coordinate with estimators, project coordinators, and production teams.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards and manufacturing capabilities.
• Modify and revise drawings based on feedback from clients and site requirements.
• Ensure accurate measurements and material specifications.
• Provide technical design support throughout project execution.

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in joinery design or fit-out drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or similar software is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of joinery detailing, materials, and hardware.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and prepare shop drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
