Job Summary


GMG is looking for a Designer – Multimedia to create high-quality, engaging creative assets across social media, digital, e-commerce, and in-store channels. This role is ideal for a versatile designer with strong experience in static design, motion graphics, video, photography, and DTP , who understands lifestyle brands and can translate brand identity into compelling visual storytelling.

You will work closely with marketing, digital, content, and social teams to deliver platform-ready, on-brand, and commercially effective creative outputs.


Key Responsibilities


  • Create static and animated content for social platforms (posts, stories, reels, short-form videos, paid assets).
  • Design digital and e-commerce assets including banners, landing visuals, PDP enhancements, and email creatives.
  • Produce motion graphics, GIFs, and short animations ; edit videos for campaigns, launches, and events.
  • Plan and execute basic product and lifestyle photography , including lighting, composition, and post-production.
  • Perform high-quality image retouching and compositing (colour correction, cut-outs, grading, cleanup).
  • Deliver print-ready artwork and DTP for in-store POS, signage, posters, and corporate collateral.
  • Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and coordinate with external agencies and vendors when required.
  • Manage templates, versioning, and files while meeting channel specifications and timelines.
  • Stay updated on design, fashion, lifestyle, and social media trends to continuously elevate creative output.


Qualifications and Skills


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic design, Multimedia, Visual Communication, or a related field.


Experience

  • 4–5 years of experience in multimedia design, motion graphics, or video editing.
  • Prior experience in retail, FMCG, fashion, or lifestyle brands is preferred.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing digital, motion, video, and print work .


Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Strong motion design, animation, and video editing skills for social-first formats.
  • Solid understanding of DTP and print production (pre-press, colour profiles, file setup).
  • Photography fundamentals (camera handling, lighting, composition).
  • Knowledge of platform specifications for major social and digital channels.
  • Knowledge of 3D tools (Cinema 4D / Blender) or UI/UX principles is a plus.


Soft Skills

  • Strong creative and visual storytelling skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; open to feedback.
