Designer Quality

Manage the design quality convergence of parts in order to ensure compliance of styling parts in terms of shape and appearance.
To create & update guidelines & standards for design quality, for digital & physical components. Understand in totality the design intention, product definition, project schedule & DQ deliverables.
Prepare & organise the industrialisation phase for design quality validation activities.
To carry out validation of digital class-A CAD data, as par standards of surface quality, sections, gap & flush, graining reference.
To carry out tool validations at supplier facility & plant, before & after graining. To carry out material sample level, part level & vehicle level colour, grain, gloss & appearance validation as par design quality standards.
At supplier facility & plant. Deploy the design quality validation activities with the suppliers & plant to ensure design intention compliance in terms of shape, finishing & appearance in the industrialisation & mass production phase. To update & maintain design quality status data in the system

Bachelor’s degree or above in Transportation Design/Product Design. 10-12+ years of automobile styling related development experience; more than 3-5 vehicle project development experience. Professional ability: Familiar with automotive design and development process, and proficient in the usage of Photoshop, Illustrator, Alias and MS office. Fluent English communication skills and teamwork.
