TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Designer/Drafter III in Atlanta, GA.
Responsible for creating technical drawings from ideas, concepts, instructions and diagrams into workable product designs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Transform initial rough draft product designs into solid models, 3D models, 2D documents and assembly drawing using SolidWorks

Create and update detailed drawings of designs and plans according to specifications and /or survey data.

Create and modify and add parametric equations within a working model

Research and initiate markup and write up an Engineering Change Order without supervision

Review engineering drawings and designs to ensure accuracy and adherence to established specifications and standards.

Train Level II Designer/Drafter

Lead projects within department

Leadership: Lead and mentor other Data Engineers or team members, maintaining composure in uncertain times, and effectively guiding end-to-end project execution.

Communication: Establish strong relationships across teams, articulate thoughts and ideas clearly, communicate, and influence others positively.

Self-Development: Demonstrate ongoing learning in new technologies and methodologies. Proactively seek new areas for growth and self-improvement.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
-
Associates Degree or Technical School and /or an experience equivalent in manufacturing environment required.

Five or more years of design/drafting experience
-
Ability to read, interpret, and comprehend technical drawings and survey data
-
Must possess Knowledge of commonly-used drafting concepts, practices and procedures

Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook).

Experience with PDM and SolidWorks is required
