Job Description

Luxi Stone is seeking a passionate, creative, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Designer / Project Coordinator. This role combines customer-facing design support with project coordination, helping clients bring their vision to life while ensuring projects move smoothly from selection and planning through fabrication and installation.

You will assist customers with material selections, provide design guidance, and create customized quotes based on cabinet plans and project specifications. This position plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while maintaining clear communication between customers, sales staff, measurement technicians, and fabrication teams.

A key responsibility of this role is ensuring that our fabrication team has all the information needed for projects to be completed accurately and efficiently. This includes reviewing project specifications, verifying sink selections, monitoring material inventory, and ensuring all project details are complete, organized, and clearly communicated.

This position provides an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about design and wants to grow with our company as we develop into cabinetry and interior design services in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with countertop, material, and design selections.
• Create accurate, customized quotes based on cabinet plans and project specifications.
• Provide design recommendations that align with clients’ style, budget, and functional needs.
• Coordinate project details between customers, sales staff, measurement technicians, fabrication teams, and installers.
• Verify sink selections, material availability, and inventory requirements.
• Ensure all project information is complete, accurate, and clearly documented.
• Support production workflows by providing fabricators with the information needed to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and project coordination abilities.
• A passion for interior design, cabinetry, and creating beautiful spaces.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience in interior design, cabinetry, countertops, construction, project coordination, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency with estimating, quoting, design software, or project management tools is a plus.
