FF&E Designer & Project Coordinator

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) Designer & Project Coordinator to join our creative team. In this role, you will drive the conceptualization, design, and execution of interior environments by selecting and coordinating furnishings, lighting, and decorative elements that elevate spaces to new heights. You will serve as a key liaison between clients, vendors, and contractors, ensuring seamless project delivery from initial concept through installation. Your energetic approach and meticulous planning will help transform visions into stunning realities while managing multiple projects efficiently.

Duties

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop innovative FF&E concepts aligned with project goals and brand standards
• Create detailed design drawings using SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD software to visualize design ideas effectively
• Prepare comprehensive specifications, including color schemes, materials, finishes, and lighting designs utilizing Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite
• Coordinate procurement processes by sourcing furnishings, lighting fixtures, and accessories; manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
• Oversee project timelines and budgets through effective project management practices; track progress and adjust plans as needed
• Facilitate communication between all stakeholders to ensure design intent is maintained during renovation or remodeling phases
• Conduct site visits to monitor installation quality, troubleshoot issues on-site, and ensure adherence to safety standards and design specifications

Skills

• A degree or background in design is highly desired.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite for drafting and visualization purposes
• Strong understanding of interior design principles including color theory, lighting design, and space planning
• Experience with CAD drafting for furniture layouts, detailed construction drawings, and remodeling projects
• Familiarity with project management tools to coordinate schedules, budgets, and resources effectively
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams
• Background in lighting sales or lighting design is a plus; experience with renovation or construction projects is highly desirable
• Understanding of budgeting practices within interior design projects

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
