Pro-H Development Inc. is a well-established New York real estate developer and general

contractor with over 25 years of experience in residential, mixed-use, and commercial

developments. Our portfolio includes luxury residential buildings, condominium developments, mixed-use projects, and large-scale ground-up construction throughout New York City.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Design Coordinator to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a highly organized professional with extensive experience coordinating interior design from concept through construction and project completion.

Position Summary

The Senior Interior Design Coordinator will lead the coordination of interior design packages, finishes, material selections, consultant communications, and construction implementation. The successful candidate will work closely with ownership, architects, engineers, contractors, and

vendors to ensure each project meets the highest standards of design, quality, schedule, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

Interior Design Coordination

● Coordinate all interior design activities from schematic design through project completion.

● Review architectural and interior design drawings for accuracy, constructability, and consistency.

● Coordinate finishes, FF&E, lighting, millwork, kitchen and bathroom designs.

● Prepare finish schedules, material boards, and design presentations.

● Ensure design intent is maintained throughout construction.

Construction Coordination

● Work closely with project managers and superintendents during construction.

● Review shop drawings and submittals related to interior finishes.

● Conduct regular site visits to monitor installation quality.

● Identify design conflicts and propose practical solutions.

● Coordinate punch list items and project closeout.

Vendor & Consultant Management

● Coordinate with architects, interior designers, engineers, lighting consultants, and specialty consultants.

● Source and evaluate materials, fixtures, furnishings, and finishes.

● Obtain quotations and negotiate with vendors.

● Coordinate overseas material procurement when necessary.

Budget & Schedule Management

● Assist in developing interior construction budgets.

● Review pricing and value engineering proposals.

● Track procurement schedules and material deliveries.

● Help ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.

Documentation

● Prepare meeting minutes and maintain project documentation.

● Review RFIs, ASIs, submittals, and change orders affecting interior work.

● Maintain finish logs, sample libraries, and material specifications.

Client & Ownership Coordination

● Present design concepts and material selections to ownership.

● Coordinate owner comments and design revisions.

● Ensure final design aligns with project goals and market positioning.

Qualifications

Required

● Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

● Minimum 10 years of professional interior design coordination experience.

● Experience with luxury residential, condominium, or mixed-use developments.

● Strong understanding of construction methods and detailing.

● Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

● Proficient in:

o AutoCAD

o Revit (preferred)

o SketchUp

o Adobe Creative Suite

o Microsoft Office

● Excellent organizational and communication skills.

● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English

Preferred

● Experience working for a real estate developer or general contractor.

● Knowledge of NYC Building Code and construction practices.

● Experience coordinating custom millwork and high-end residential interiors.

● Experience with overseas sourcing and procurement.

● Familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Project.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
