Designer/Visual Merchandiser/Retail Stylist (Luxury Home Décor Boutique)

Position Overview:

We are a luxury home décor boutique seeking a highly skilled Designer/Visual Merchandiser/Retail Stylist to curate an elevated in-store experience. This role is responsible for translating our brand aesthetic into refined, cohesive displays that inspire customers and reflect a high standard of design. The ideal candidate has a sophisticated eye, strong styling instincts, and the ability to execute with precision and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and execute elevated visual merchandising and seasonal installations

• Maintain a polished, cohesive store environment aligned with brand standards

• Style product displays that reflect a luxury, editorial aesthetic

• Continuously refine floor layout and product placement to enhance flow and drive sales

• Create and assemble boutique items (including bows, wreaths and custom décor) with exceptional attention to detail

• Collaborate with ownership on creative direction, product storytelling, and brand presentation

• Ensure all areas of the store are impeccably maintained at all times

Qualifications:

• A deep understanding of color theory, texture, scale, and spatial composition is essential.

• A heightened design sensibility, coupled with a keen eye for fine details and finishing touches, is crucial.

• Self-starter with the ability to take ownership and execute independently.

• Highly organized with strong time-management skills.

• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.

• Preferred experience includes interior design, retail sales, or visual merchandising in luxury or high-end retail environments.

• Strong proficiency in design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and the Adobe Creative Suite is mandatory.

• Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail is crucial.

• Additional skills in social media marketing strategies, merchandising plans, Node.js (for digital integration), or advanced illustration are a huge plus but not mandatory.
