We are seeking a Deskside Support Technician (Level 2) to provide hands-on IT support within a large automotive manufacturing environment. This is not a typical office support role-you'll be directly supporting systems and users that keep production running on the plant floor.

Provide deskside support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues

Support production-critical systems including shop-floor workstations, RF scanners, and printers

Deploy and image Windows 10/11 devices using tools such as SCCM, MDT, or Autopilot

Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD (Entra ID), and Group Policy

Configure and troubleshoot network printers and TCP/IP connectivity

Provide support for AV and video conferencing systems

Respond to high-priority incidents impacting production operations

Document all work in ticketing systems (ServiceNow or similar) and meet SLA requirements

Assist with asset management including provisioning, deployment, and decommissioning

Combination of office and manufacturing/plant floor support

Exposure to industrial environments (noise, machinery, varying temperatures)

Required use of PPE (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, etc.)

Walking and standing for extended periods across a large facility

3+ years of deskside or desktop support experience in an enterprise environment

Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and deployment

Experience with Active Directory (user management, group policy, etc.)

Familiarity with imaging tools (SCCM, MDT, Intune, or similar)

Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

Experience supporting Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment

CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications

ITIL knowledge or certification

Experience with Intune/Endpoint Manager and Autopilot

Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial IT environments

Familiarity with barcode scanners, label printers, or rugged devices
