Desktop Support Administrator

Job Description

We are hiring a Desktop Support Administrator for our Islandia, NY office. This role is based in the office and may require occasional travel. This is a great opportunity to work on a wide range of systems and processes for a national mid-sized environmental consulting firm.

Position Requirements


  • Must be customer service oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer savvy with familiarity of hardware setup and software installations

Preferred


  • IT technical school program
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell
  • Experience with computer imaging software

Essential Duties


  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Create and manage users
  • Setup laptops
  • Support end users with application issues, software installations, etc.
  • Complete cybersecurity related tasks
  • Provide first level support for phones

Hourly Pay Range: $21.64 - $28.85 per hour. This pay range is based on what Roux in good faith believes it might pay at the time of posting for this position and for this geographic location. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as relevant work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications, skill sets, and internal equity.
