Key Responsibilities (1 Year Experience – Desktop Support Engineer)

  • Provide L1 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, MS Office, and basic software applications.
  • Perform hardware troubleshooting including RAM, HDD/SSD, peripherals, and system performance issues.
  • Handle user account management through Active Directory (password reset, account unlock, access issues).
  • Set up and configure email clients (Outlook, O365) and resolve related issues.
  • Support LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity issues (IP configuration, basic network diagnosis).
  • Install and configure antivirus and ensure regular system updates/patching.
  • Assist with new joiner onboarding – system setup, access configuration, and profile creation.
  • Maintain ticketing system (JIRA/ServiceNow/Freshservice) and ensure timely closure of incidents.
  • Coordinate with L2 teams for unresolved or complex issues.
  • Maintain asset inventory of IT equipment and update records regularly.
  • Provide remote support to users via tools like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or inbuilt remote assistance.
  • Ensure basic data backup and recovery for users when required.
  • Document recurring issues and create knowledge base articles for user self-help.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
