Job Summary

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer (L1) who will provide technical assistance and support to end-users for hardware, software, network, and system issues. The role involves troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and ensuring smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, MS Office, and standard applications.
• Manage user accounts and permissions through Active Directory.
• Troubleshoot basic network issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN connectivity).
• Handling incidents via ticketing tools and ensuring timely resolution.
• Perform preventive maintenance and regular system updates.
• Support video conferencing tools and IT equipment setup.
• Escalate unresolved issues to L2 / Senior Engineers.
• Asset management (hardware & software tracking).
• Provide remote support to users when required.
