Role: Azure Devops Engineer

The Azure DevOps Engineer L3 is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, disaster recovery (DR) solutions, and containerized workloads within Azure cloud environments. This role demands expertise in Terraform for infrastructure automation and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container orchestration to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline application delivery and updates.

• Architect, implement, and maintain disaster recovery solutions including automated backup, multi-region failover, and business continuity strategies.

• Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) with a focus on scalability, security, and high availability.

• Use Terraform to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) ensuring repeatability and version control.

• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, container environments, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure optimal performance and compliance.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to define infrastructure requirements, security standards, and compliance related to regulated environments.

• Implement cloud security best practices including network policies, role-based access control, and container security.

Essential Skills

• Deep experience with Azure DevOps platform and CI/CD pipeline design/management.

• Knowledge of disaster recovery (DR) architecture and business continuity in cloud environments.

• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code implementation and automation.

• Solid expertise with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) including cluster management, scaling, networking, and security.

• Containerization experience with Docker, Kubernetes concepts, and ecosystem tools.

• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks.

• Familiarity with cloud monitoring, logging, and security tools in Azure.

• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related roles with Azure.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer
