Role description

Role Proficiency:

Acts under very minimal guidance to develop error free code; testing and documenting applications

Outcomes:

  • Understand the applications features and component design and develop the same in accordance with user stories/requirements.
  • Code debug test and document; and communicate product/component/feature development stages.
  • Develop optimized code with appropriate approach and algorithms following standards and security guidelines independently
  • Effectively interact with customers and articulate their input
  • Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models
  • Mentor Developer I – Software Engineering to become more effective in their role
  • Learn technology business domain and system domain as recommended by the project/account
  • Set FAST goals and provide feedback to FAST goals of mentees

    Additional Comments:

    The Integration Developer will be responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing automation and integration solutions across key business functions such as HR, Finance, Recruitment, ServiceNow as well as other delivery opportunities. The role involves mapping existing processes, developing and maintaining integrations using Workato, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and business agility. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders across departments (Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, Support) to identify manual or semi-automated processes suitable for automation and integration. Analyze and document “as-is” workflows and design optimized “to-be” processes, defining key triggers, actions, and data flows. Build, configure, and modify integrations (recipes) in Workato — including triggers, actions, data mapping, and error handling. Validate data flows and work closely with technical teams to address complex integration scenarios. Support testing efforts and ensure successful deployment of automated workflows. Maintain comprehensive documentation — process maps, recipe logic, user guides, and handover materials. Monitor and analyze automation results, handle exception logs, escalate issues, and coordinate resolutions with support teams. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong background in process mapping and business analysis. Familiarity with or willingness to learn Workato platform — including triggers, actions, connectors, and automation recipes. Good understanding of key business systems such as CRM, ERP, HRIS, Finance, ServiceNow and how data flows between them. Proficiency in data mapping — including fields, formats, and conditional logic. Strong stakeholder communication, requirement gathering, and documentation skills. Hands-on experience in building and managing APIs(REST/SOAP), webhooks, and data formats (JSON/XML). Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have): Certifications such as Workato Automation Pro I/II. Prior experience in any other integration platforms, workflow automation, or digital transformation projects. Exposure to API-based integrations or enterprise middleware solutions.
