The Role
Development & Project Delivery Director – Qatar CLIENT Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation in Qatar. They are seeking a Development & Project Delivery Director to oversee their Asian portfolio. RESPONSIBILITIES • Owning the end-to-end P&L of every project within the Asia Region • Overseeing all project phases, ensuring compliance with HQ guidance, guidelines, and strategy, and enabling smooth coordination across Development, Delivery, Sales, Leasing, and Marketing • Conducting market research and developing regulatory, technical, and financial feasibility reports for potential projects within the Asia region • Developing recommendations on project execution strategy such as JV, or sole company ownership, etc. • Creating and managing government relationships including getting requisite approvals • Liaising with Asset Management, Programme Management, Contract & Procurement, and other departments for project controls functions • Managing PMCs to ensure that projects are delivered within their allotted time and budget, and QHSE standards are met • Managing all local stakeholders

Requirements
PROFILE • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering subject with a master’s degree in management strongly preferred • 15 years’ experience in contract management, project management, operations, and business development within the real estate industry • Demonstrable history of successfully executing large development projects • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills • Due to our client’s ongoing commitment to Qatarization, our client’s first preference is to interview Qatari nationals for this opportunity.
