Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Development Manager to drive growth, partnerships, and project execution within our agricultural business. The role requires a strong balance of business development, project management, and knowledge of the agriculture sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in agriculture (crop production, agri-inputs, agri-tech, value chain projects).
• Build and manage relationships with farmers, suppliers, distributors, and government bodies.
• Lead project proposals, feasibility studies, and funding applications (including grants or investors).
• Oversee implementation of agricultural development projects, ensuring timelines and KPIs are met.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends.
• Support sustainability initiatives and adoption of new technologies (precision farming, irrigation, etc.).
• Collaborate with internal teams (finance, operations, sales) to align on strategy.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and stakeholder meetings.
