Development Manager - Real Estate Commercial Investments

Role Overview


The Development Manager will lead and support the end-to-end lifecycle of commercial real estate development projects while actively contributing to business growth through deal sourcing, partnerships, and investment opportunities. This role requires a balance of strong project execution skills and strategic business development capabilities.


Key Responsibilities


1. Project Development & Management

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of commercial real estate development projects from concept to completion
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, architects, and internal teams to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
  • Monitor project performance, risks, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Oversee feasibility studies, design development, permitting, and construction phases
  • Ensure alignment with investment objectives and asset value optimization

2. Business Development & Investment Support

  • Identify and evaluate new commercial real estate investment opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, investors, partners, and key stakeholders
  • Conduct market research, financial modeling, and due diligence for potential deals
  • Support deal structuring, negotiations, and acquisition processes
  • Contribute to portfolio growth strategies and expansion initiatives


3. Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the main point of contact between internal teams and external partners
  • Present project updates, investment proposals, and reports to senior management
  • Manage relationships with government authorities and regulatory bodies


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field
  • Master’s degree (MBA or Real Estate) is a plus
  • 10+ years of experience in real estate development and/or commercial investments
  • Proven track record in managing commercial real estate projects
  • Experience in business development, deal sourcing, or investment analysis

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in mixed-use, office, retail, or large-scale commercial developments
  • Familiarity with local real estate regulations and market dynamics
  • Exposure to PPP projects or institutional investments is a plus
