We are seeking skilled Developmental Interventionists (DIs) to provide family-centered early intervention services across New Jersey. This is a flexible, per-diem/contract position with opportunities to build your caseload based on your availability.
Developmental Interventionist (DI) Responsibilities:
Conduct developmental assessments and participate in evaluations.
Collaborate with families and the early intervention team to develop Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) outcomes.
Provide developmental instruction and strategies in natural settings to help children meet IFSP goals.
Coach parents and caregivers to embed developmental activities into daily routines.
Maintain required documentation in compliance with NJ Early Intervention System (NJEIS) guidelines.
Developmental Interventionist (DI) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related health, human service, or education field.
One year of documented professional experience with individuals birth to five who have developmental delays or disabilities OR a minimum of 6 credits in infant or early childhood special education.
Knowledge of child development, family engagement, and evidence-based early intervention practices.
Strong communication, collaboration, and coaching skills.
