About our DevOps / SRE Team:

Our Infrastructure Team builds and operates the foundational systems that power all of noon’s engineering. We design, manage, and automate platforms that host tens of thousands of Kubernetes resources across multi-region GCP environments.

The team focuses on reliability, scalability, and developer experience. Owning everything from GKE cluster architecture, service mesh routing, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code, to observability, security, and disaster recovery. We work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure that every service at noon runs efficiently, securely, and with zero downtime as a guiding principle. This is a fast-moving, deeply technical team where engineers take ownership, solve complex problems at scale, and shape the core platforms used by thousands.


About this role:

We are looking for motivated engineers with a strong foundation in Linux, programming, system design, and networking. You will primarily work with Google Cloud Platform, supporting mission-critical production systems and high-scale Kubernetes environments. Strong communication skills, ownership, and eagerness to learn are essential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Kubernetes large Clusters (GKE) at scale.
  • Help maintain cloud resources such as Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Load Balancers, IAM policies.
  • Debug and troubleshoot problems in a live production environment.
  • Participate in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform services.
  • Guide engineering teams toward best practices in reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Work with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver / Cloud Monitoring, OpenTelemetry).
  • Contribute to automation, tooling, and infrastructure improvements.


Nice to have:

  • Exposure to Istio or any service mesh (Linkerd, Consul).
  • Basic knowledge of Terraform or Pulumi or any IaC tool .
  • Experience with logging/monitoring tools (Prometheus, Loki, Stackdriver, ELK, OTEL).
  • Understanding of YAML, JSON, REST, and cloud-native design patterns.
  • Familiarity with Cloud SQL, Memorystore, BigQuery, or Cloud Run.
  • Familiarity with or ability to read and understand programs written in Python or Go .
