DevOps Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipeline development. This role requires a collaborative mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and deployment processes into CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure and application issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals.
• Ensure all infrastructure and processes comply with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation of routine tasks using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve automation and reduce manual intervention.
• Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop their skills.
• Lead by example, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure management, and automation.
• Expertise in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar).
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Splunk).
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN).
