Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in automating, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure in a multi-account AWS environment. The ideal candidate will have deep proficiency in CloudFormation, hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, strong networking knowledge, and the ability to architect secure, scalable, and highly available systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent cloud engineering knowledge, and the ability to drive automation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and Bitbucket.
Automate end-to-end cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation (must have deep proficiency).
Manage AWS multi-account environments with Organizations, Control Tower, and Landing Zones.
Work with core AWS services at the infrastructure level:
Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, ECS, EKS, Fargate, EC2, Glue, Step Functions.
Configure networking components including VPC, Site-to-Site VPN, Transit Gateway, Load Balancers (ALB/NLB), Route 53.
Support infrastructure for database services such as RDS and Redshift.
Ensure High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and follow security best practices.
Manage identity and access using IAM, including SCPs, guardrails, SSM Parameters, and Secrets Manager.
Write automation scripts using Python and Bash.
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and optimize performance and cost.
Required Skills
Expert-level proficiency in CloudFormation (must-have).
Hands-on experience with AWS Organizations, Control Tower, and Landing Zones.
Strong AWS cloud knowledge across serverless and container-based architectures.
Practical experience using CodePipeline and other CI/CD tools.
Solid understanding of AWS networking, load balancers, Route 53, and RDS.
Strong understanding of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) design.
Scripting proficiency in Python and Bash.
Strong command over IAM, security controls, governance, and compliance practices.
Nice to Have
Experience with Grafana or Prometheus for monitoring and observability.
Knowledge of blue/green and canary deployment strategies.
