Job Overview:
We are seeking a Cloud/DevOps Engineer with solid experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Terraform(Infrastructure as Code) and Kubernetes (Container Orchestration). The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, deploying, automating, and managing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure on AWS using best practices around scalability, security, and high availability.
- Use Terraform to define and provision cloud resources via Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Manage containerised applications and orchestrate workloads via Kubernetes.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, deployment, and monitoring processes using modern DevOps tools.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline build-test-release cycles.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, costs, and health using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues in development, staging, and production environments.
- Work closely with development, QA, and security teams to align cloud strategies with business goals.
Must-Have Skills:
- 3–5 years of hands-on AWS experience, including core services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, and ECS/EKS.
- Terraform: writing reusable modules, managing state, and integrating with CI/CD workflows,
- Kubernetes: deploying/managing clusters, Helm charts, ingress, and service discovery.
- Familiarity with container technologies like Docker.
- Solid understanding of networking, IAM, and cloud security best practices.
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
- Good scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate/Professional).
- Experience with serverless architecture (e.g., AWS Lambda, API Gateway).
- Observability stack experience (e.g., Cloud Watch, Loki, Datadog).
- Familiarity with GitOps practices (e.g., ArgoCD or Flux).
