DevOps Engineer

About Role:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to help build, optimize, and maintain our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate has strong experience with automation, CI/CD, cloud environments, and Odoo server management. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure smooth, secure, and scalable technical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated development and deployment.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar) and ensure high availability and scalability.
• Configure, monitor, and optimize production and staging environments.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Ensure system reliability through monitoring, logging, and performance tuning.
• Manage and optimize Odoo server deployments, modules, backups, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, network, and deployment issues.
• Enhance security by managing access controls, patching, and system hardening.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve development workflows and automation.
• Document system architecture, processes, and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement across infrastructure and DevOps processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Systems Engineer, or similar role.
• Experience managing Odoo environments (deployment, scaling, configurations, module handling).
• Strong hands on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Strong understanding of Linux system administration.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Good understanding of networking, firewalls, DNS, load balancing, and security best practices.
• Excellent problem solving, automation, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience with Odoo custom modules or related development.
• Experience with PostgreSQL administration.
• Familiarity with Nginx, HAProxy, or similar reverse proxies.
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Certifications (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Experience working in startups or fast-paced tech environments.
