Salary: 60,000 PKR to 70,000 PKR per month (depending on experience)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Hybrid DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in coding, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, build/deployment management, regression workflows, AWS services, backups, automation, testing, and system reliability.

You will work across both development and operations, ensuring smooth delivery, integration, monitoring, and scaling of Terapage’s applications.
This role is ideal for someone who writes clean, efficient code and manages robust cloud infrastructure with confidence.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment & Code Work

✅ Write clean, well-structured, and efficient backend/automation code.
✅ Perform in-depth code reviews, merge requests, and regression checks.
✅ Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD automation pipelines.
✅ Collaborate with engineers on version control, branching strategies, and release cycles.

DevOps, Infrastructure & Deployment

✅ Configure, manage, monitor, and optimize AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, ECS/EKS, and networking.
✅ Automate deployments, scaling, and reliability improvements using DevOps best practices.
✅ Build and maintain secure, high-availability cloud environments.

Testing, Monitoring & Maintenance

✅ Create automated test workflows for deployment validation and system integrity.
✅ Conduct regression testing and ensure stable releases.
✅ Implement and manage disaster recovery, backups, and rollback strategies.
✅ Monitor performance, detect issues early, and resolve bottlenecks proactively.

Collaboration & Documentation

✅ Work closely with developers, QA, and product teams across sprint cycles.
✅ Document system architectures, pipelines, scripts, and cloud configurations.
✅ Provide support during outages, deployments, or infrastructure changes.

Skills & QualificationsCore Technical Skills

✅ 1–3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or related hybrid role.
✅ Strong programming skills (Node.js, Python, Bash scripting, or similar).
✅ Deep understanding of Git / GitHub workflows, merging, branching, and conflict resolution.
✅ Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
✅ Advanced knowledge of AWS configuration, provisioning, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
✅ Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration technologies (ECS/EKS/Kubernetes).
✅ Experience with automated testing, regression workflows, and release pipelines.

Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Knowledge of networking, firewalls, DNS, load balancers, and security best practices.
• Experience with log aggregation tools (ELK, Loki, CloudWatch Logs).
