We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to:

manage virtual, cloud, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments. Provision infrastructure components and services to meet the evolving needs of users and service providers.

use containerization technologies to enhance application deployment and scalability.

automate tasks through scripting, coding, orchestration tools, and infrastructure-as-code practices including the CI/CD pipeline.

ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying UBS digital principles.

apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing & developing new features to automation testing, code scanning for vulnerabilities, and deployments.

build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues

collaborate with development and platform teams to onboard platform requirements. Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues , help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities.

Your team

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods.

You’ll be working in the Data Analytics and Dashboard Crew which is part of Digital Operations and Market Regulations stream in Hyderabad.

Your expertise

bachelor or masters degree (or equivalent) with 8 plus years of professional experience in the industry. Preferably worked in DevOps areas for last few years.

interested in learning new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind

strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
experience with cloud platforms ( e.g. Azure).
familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet).
strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
excellent communication and collaboration skills.
