Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level DevOps and CloudOps Engineer to join our growing infrastructure team. In this role, you will focus on automating deployments, managing cloud infrastructure, and maintaining containerized environments using self-managed Kubernetes and EKS. You will play a key role in accelerating our delivery pipelines and adopting next-generation, AI-driven development workflows utilizing toolsets like Claude Code and MCP servers to optimize operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure as Code: Design, provision, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Manage and scale containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS.
• CI/CD & GitOps: Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Jenkins, Code Pipeline & GitHub Actions and implement GitOps workflows via ArgoCD.
• System Administration: Manage and optimize Linux-based environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• AI-Driven DevOps: Integrate and leverage N8N, Claude Code and MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to automate routine tasks, analyze logs, and optimize developer workflows.
• Database Support: Perform basic administration, querying, and maintenance on MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases.

Technical Requirements

• Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix administration.
• Cloud Platform: 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS core services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, EKS, CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda Functions, RDS, DynamoDB, Elasticache, CloudFormation).
• Containers: Solid experience with Docker (writing Dockerfiles, image optimization) and Kubernetes (manifest management, troubleshooting pods).
• CI/CD Tools: Proficient with Jenkins, GitHub Actions and ArgoCD for continuous integration and delivery.
• Infrastructure as Code: Proven experience writing reusable modules in Terraform and CloudFormation templates.
• AI Tooling: Hands-on exposure or strong interest in N8N, Claude Code and setting up/configuring MCP servers for automated workflows.
• Databases: Basic knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB (user management, backups, simple querying).
• Version Control: Strong proficiency with Git life cycle (branching, merging, pull requests).
• Monitoring: Basic familiarity with cloud monitoring (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
