DevOps engineer, GISACC

Mission

GISACC is Valeo holding group IS application center in Cairo, where the company's digital transformation is taken to a new level. We aim to build efficient systems that incrementally add value everyday.

Main mission is to address the following in close cooperation with IT & Cyber Security departments :

Ensure Deployment of CI-CD Pipeline to various software projects

Responsibilities

CI-CD Deployment & Monitoring:

• Deploy CI-CD Jenkins Pipeline to various software projects
• Perform Infrastructure automation whenever applicable
• Deploy relevant monitoring tools to monitor CI-CD at run time
  
  

Incident Management

• Debug and resolve various CI issues
• Proactively detect and correct various CI issues
• Active monitoring of CI at production through various monitoring tools
  
  

Change Management

• Act in proximity to software development teams
• Train the development team on CI-CD usage
  
  

Reporting

• Report set of defined KPIs to assess the platform health and the service level
• Monitor the CI-CD at runtime and proactively act in case of issues
  
  

Qualifications

Education/Training

• B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Communication, or Electronics.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science
  
  

Professional Experience

• 1 -3 years of relevant experience.
  
  

Technical Requirements

• Expertise on CI/CD tools (Jenkins, git, gerrit, gcc,nexus,...) is needed
• Experience in operating system administration (Windows, Linux)
• Expertise on Cloud Technologies (AWS Services) is a plus
• Docker/Ansible knowledge is a plus
• Monitoring tools knowledge is needed (Preferably: Prometheus, Grafana)
• Excellent Troubleshooting,debugging and problem solving skills
• Good Knowledge in one scripting language or more (Perl/Shell/Python).
  
  

Languages

• English is a must.
• German or French is a plus.
