The DevOps Engineer II will independently design, implement, and manage the automation and infrastructure required for efficient and reliable software delivery in the FinTech domain. This role focuses on building robust CI/CD pipelines, scalable infrastructure, and comprehensive monitoring solutions.

Focus: Independently design and run production-grade, secure and automated infrastructure and CI/CD processes.

The difference you will make:

  • Design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) for cloud or on-premises.
  • Design, build, and optimize complex CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understand and optimize metrics like change fail rate, MTTR, deployment frequency.
  • Implement advanced automation for build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Design and implement comprehensive monitoring and logging systems.
  • Analyze logs and metrics to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Implement and manage alerting systems for critical events.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize deployment workflows.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer 1 with proven experience in infrastructure management and automation. Experience with cloud platforms and containerization. Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong expertise in DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Solid knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Good understanding of networking and security principles.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
