Job Description
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in ROS (Robot Operating System) to support deployment, scalability, and reliability of robotics software systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with robotics, perception, and autonomy teams to build robust CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and Linux-based infrastructure for robot applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain DevOps infrastructure for ROS / ROS2-based systems

• Manage CI/CD pipelines for robotics software (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)

• Containerize ROS applications using Docker and orchestrate using Kubernetes / K3s

• Deploy and monitor robotics workloads on edge devices and cloud environments

• Maintain Linux (Ubuntu) systems used for robot development and deployment

• Automate builds, testing, and deployments for ROS nodes, packages, and stacks

• Collaborate with Robotics Engineers to support simulation (Gazebo), testing, and releases

• Ensure system reliability, logging, monitoring, and performance optimization

• Implement security best practices for robotics infrastructure

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps / Platform / SRE Engineer

• Strong experience with Linux (Ubuntu preferred)

• Hands-on experience with ROS or ROS2 (deployment, builds, runtime support)

• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes (K8s/K3s)

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)

• Proficiency in Bash / Python scripting

• Experience managing robot software builds and dependencies

• Understanding of networking concepts relevant to robotics systems

Good to Have

• Experience with Gazebo / simulation pipelines

• Cloud experience: AWS / Azure / GCP

• Experience with edge computing / embedded Linux

• Familiarity with autonomous systems, robotics fleets, or industrial robots

• Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,600,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
