Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join their growing technology team. This role will play a critical part in building, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure. You will work closely with development and QA teams to ensure seamless delivery pipelines and reliable production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes
• Build and manage scalable infrastructure supporting modern applications, including AI-driven systems
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Optimize cloud and on-premise environments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Manage and enhance real-time data streaming and queuing systems
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues to ensure high availability
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Establish monitoring for both system performance and application-level metrics
• Conduct root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement of system reliability
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth deployment of new features
• Promote best practices in architecture, security, and performance optimization
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001)
• Manage secrets and credentials securely using tools like Vault or cloud-native solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, or Go
• Hands on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Datadog, Grafana)
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, firewalls)
• Exposure to real time data processing architectures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Pulumi
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd)
• Familiarity with database scaling and administration (SQL, NoSQL, Vector databases)
• Experience working in high traffic or production critical environments
