Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated DevOps & IT Operations Support Specialist to join our growing team. This role bridges development and operations, focusing on implementing automation, maintaining infrastructure, and providing reliable IT support. The ideal candidate is passionate about cloud technologies, infrastructure as code, and ensuring system reliability while supporting day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & DevOps (60%)

• Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

• Support cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) under supervision

• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar

• Participate in containerization efforts using Docker and Kubernetes

• Monitor system performance and assist in troubleshooting

• Maintain and improve configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions

IT Operations & Support (40%)

• Provide Level 2/3 technical support for internal systems

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls

• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows/Linux server environments

• Support network infrastructure and basic security implementations

• Document processes, procedures, and system configurations

• Participate in on-call rotation for production support

• Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in IT operations, DevOps, or related field

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems administration

• Exposure to scripting languages (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)

• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls)

• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)

• Basic understanding of container concepts

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• Relevant certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner, Linux+, etc.)

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)

• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Understanding of security best practices and compliance

• Experience with database administration basics
