DevOps / Software Engineer [Work from home]

Introduction:

Our different business units develop different software and applications, including AI software, for both internal use and external customers. This role will provide hands-on experience in software development, web application development, and cybersecurity.

You will assist in developing software and apps, streamlining our development processes and enhancing operational security. You will develop and implement deployment strategies and contribute to both frontend and backend web application development.

Potential scope of work:

1) DevOps / Software Development

• Assist in the design, development, and deployment of web and mobile applications using frameworks such as Node.js (or React, Angular, Vue), and maybe mobile development tools like React Native or Flutter.
• Help manage deployment processes for both web and mobile applications and ensure system performance and reliability.
• Support the integration of CI/CD pipelines to enhance development workflows for both web and mobile platforms.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues in development, testing, and production environments for web and mobile applications.
• Contribute to documentation of processes and best practices for both web and mobile development.
• Engage in code reviews and collaborate on software design for both web and mobile applications.

2) Cybersecurity and Deployment

• Assist in implementing security best practices throughout the deployment process.
• Monitor applications for security vulnerabilities and response to incidents.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
• Conduct testing and validation of security features within applications.
• Research technology products and software solutions to enhance security measures within internal initiatives.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Basic understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, etc.) is a plus.
• Knowledge of mobile development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter) is a plus.
• Exposure to DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices is desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From Rs84,800.00 per month
